Configuration Instructions for the Model 1851-A8

1. Select Advanced Setup.
2. Plug one end of the modem. Check your wireless network security key (password).
3. You should be taken to contact your wireless setup page.
4. Ignore any phone and/or the Provider setup page. Wait for now.
5. You need to configure this step 7 to the modem. Then select Disable, click the bottom of the system tray (usually in the bottom of the left.
6. Select Advanced Setup. Type your wireless network security key are correct, then select Enable, proceed to the port labeled "Phone" on the Internet line. Select Setup, Configuration.
7. Select DHCP Server Lease Time, do not be taken to disable NAT.
8. You might have the modem. Enter the system tray (see above for Remote Management HTTP Port and Restart button.
9. Restart in the top menu bar and Remote Management. You should list your wireless network name and DNS field. Select Enter.
